Afro Tourism Expo 2015(November 17 and 18, 2015)

Mr. Karim further reflects, "Look at complementarity of Africa's aviation industry for instance. There are no super-hubs directly connecting most African countries without first going out of the continent. Today, most connections intra-Africa, are en route Europe and the Middle-East!"

Afro Tourism Expo 2015 believes that to develop intra-Africa tourism and create widespread economic multiplier-effects at the host destinations and communities, there has to be massive investment in physical transportation and logistics connecting African destinations and peoples.

The event has been endorsed by the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) and listed on their website, click to view, http://www.unwto.org/calendar/index.php?t=99. You could also get more details about the event from the website http://AfroTourismExpo.com

It is in the light of these inadequacies that we are dedicating this year's Afro Tourism Expo to advocate for greater intra-Africa transportation infrastructure.
It is not surprising that enormous paper work had been done, and still being done, by African and other international organizations, over this sheer lack of transport infrastructure connecting countries and tourist destinations in the continent. Organizations like the African Development Bank (ADB), United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, NEPAD and the World Bank have volumes of reports about how Africa's transport infrastructure can be expanded and the benefits.

This 2015, the Expo theme, "Intra-Africa Transport Infrastructure: the springboard for tourism economic multiplier-effect" is conceived to stimulate actionable debate and attract infrastructure investment at African tourist destinations. The Expo is scheduled for the International Conference Centre Abuja Nigeria, November 17 and 18th 2015. Participants should expect enriching presentations from distinguished resource persons and specialists from pro-Africa trade and infrastructure organizations with special attention on Aviation, Maritime, Road and Rail transport sectors.

Afro Tourism Expo™ 2015 targets the following travel, tourism and hospitality group of people and organizations:
